As a part of the European Support Organisation (ESO) the Luxembourg office offers ICT, Online and Offline support to travel agents and travellers. For this department we are currently looking for a:

Service Desk agent

The Service Desk agent is responsible for accepting calls and e-mails, the registration and categorization of customer requests and the resolution or escalation of customer requests. This may involve functional and technical support for our travel management tools Customers include BCD Travel clients and BCD staff in several locations throughout Europe.

Duties and responsibilities

• Service Request handling
• Consulting and guidance
• Incident trouble shooting
• Qualified documentation of reported issues (providing detailed description for further handling, knowledge database, etc).
• Provide status information
• Compliance with the agreed Service Desk SLA and the defined quality criteria of ticket handling

Qualifications and competences

• Fluency in English AND German (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of booking tools/GDS within Travel or Hotel Industry is required
• Customer oriented, problem-solving approach
• High ability to work under pressure and deal with conflicts
• PC and Internet literate
• Experience in Service Desk, Customer Service, Travel or Hotel Industry would be an advantage.
